Pantheon Cave

"Pantheon Cave" draws inspiration from Italy's Pantheon. By extracting and remixing its poché and circulation drawings, I created hybrid drawings that informed a digital model using Rhino 3D and Grasshopper. The sculpture features a cracked cave opening, playing with light and shadow. Horizontal and vertical extrusions intersect to create visual intrigue, while metal mesh adds texture. A spiral, vertebral-like form introduces fluidity, contrasting with the geometric elements and capturing the essence of the Pantheon’s design.
